I've recently got into mountain biking but have a boxster and it's impossible to transport my bike around. Before taking the extreme measure of getting rid of the car, I wondered if anyone had managed to find a bike rack that fits? I've found a company in the states www.birdautomotive.com who claim that their racks fit the european spec aswell as US but i'm obviously a little wary.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks

I'm in the same situation as yourself(albeit an mgf). I'm prob gonna get a luggage rack, then tie the bike to this. I'm sure you could get one of these if you find nothing else suitable eg, Here

If you can get a kiwi (?) style towbar fitted you can use a towbar hook bike carrier like I do.

Quick convinient and simple, but needs a towbar with a plate under the ball.
