I'm planning on organising a trip up there as I havent been and it looks pretty good.

Been a few times now, it's good, has a bit of everything but nothing too extreme or demanding. If you've been to other Welsh trail centres you may be a little dissapointed, it isn't as good as most IMO, but it has it's own appeal.

except their Northshore/Broadwalk 'whatevertheyarecalledd' sections...I want to take a belt sander down there everytime i go...except I can't find a plug socket near enough to them...

'scuse rant...anywho, yes, it's a decent enough trail. Coed Bryn (I can't spell it) is better though...

A fun ride, something akin to a giant BMX track. I really enjoy it, but it's not that long so look at possibly combining with other trail centres in that part of Wales, or just doing some others if you want more of a challenge.

It has already been summed up perfectly. Suffice to say I take people there for their first real MTB........... but I still enjoy it myself - even did in on a 15yr old rigid bike with no brakes last week as mine was at the LBS

Sounds ideal for me then as I'm just starting back at mountain biking after a ten year sabbaticle so my skill and fitness isn't quite what it used to be!!

From the descriptions the blue run sounds like a tame family ride.
How much more advanced is the red route?

I think it is ok for a novice, so coming back after a few years should be ok

It's good fun, watch out for the doubles on the black. One very nearly caught me out on my first time there.
