I need to upgrade the forks on my trusty old Marin Attack Trail. They are 2001 Psylo Race with 20mm through axle. My main complaint is they don't do small bumps very well any more and chucking money at a rebuild would maybe better spent on a s/h pair. I need 5" travel or thereabouts but I'm so out of touch with the latest gear I don't know where to start. Anyone got any tips?

For 5" forks budget will dictate what you can get. Anything from £200 to £600 is out there.
If budget wasn't a factor but being a tight wad was...how much of that budget do I need to spend these days to get a fork that can cope with small hits as well as big? I'm a big guy so it needs to cope with that too.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
