I have rediscovered mountain biking and am in the market for a new set of wheels, I use to ride a Kona hardtail (early 00s).
Choices are currently a similar hardtail to kona, but I'm not that keen on their current range, the merlin malt 2-09 for £629.10(http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/?fn=product&productId=50)looks right up my street (anyone have experience with Merlin). I have also got this idea about a full sus bike and have seen this 08 GT force 2.0 for £1199.00(http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31759) its a bit more than I want to spend but would quite like a FS bike.
I am 5,10ft tall and 14 stone, mostly xc riding, any suggestions would be welcome.
Also querying if I should wait for the January sales for a FS bike due to general price cuts due to the current climate.

All sing praise for the Malt 4 range. Highly recommended make. I don't kmnow much about the Malt 2, but i think it is safe to say that is is a very good bike.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
