There was a thread last year linking to a webpage illustrating how someone made their own carbon fibre mountainbike frame.

I'm interested in doing the same, and have all the necessary composite reading materials and am completing my design, HOWEVER ....

Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier of the metal pieces that I will incorporate into my build at the key areas. I've found a few companies specialising in steel pieces for road applications, however I plan to build a disc brake design, with a replaceable mech hanger, incorporating aluminium and the converging areas.

Your input is appreciated.

Easton can sell you a headtube / BB shell etc etc... Plus many others. Look up framebuilders.
