Eh? No such thing matey.

There's hydrulic Magura calipers, but no hydrulic V's.

Unless I've missed something in the last 15 years.

Crikey, rather you than me...

I think they're possibly one of those "Possibly a good idea but not really, because we were all a bit pissed up down the pub" ideas.

Just get some proper disc brakes and be done with it.

I understand where you are coming from, however that advice could (depending on the OP's bike) mean:

Buy discs, pads, levers, hoses and calipers (or kits of course),
fk, need new hubs, and therefore then also get the wheels rebuilt.
Double fk, need new forks to take the caliper mount.
Cluster fk, need new frame to take the rear caliper mount.

Fair play to you if you can do that for £30 wink

To buy those, you have to be mental. Especially when Magura HS33's are available so cheap!

Do you know what fluid they take? Dot or Mineral? If you get it wrong there fked, and you wont get seals for them!

they take mineral oil , shimano hoses and magura pads .

i took the brakes apart today and found the seals are just rubber "o"rings which i have a dozen or so the same size , so no worries there then.

i have a couple of bikes with hope brakes/hayes hfx9 brakes , i just thought they looked cool and wanted to be a bit diffrent.......

it's not the top names that i always want , just cool looking's good enough for me...

Can't see the point myself. The only benefit is that you don't have a cable to stretch. I don't see that they're actually going to be any better as brakes than a standard set of cable-operated V's.
