Anyone use Conti Verti Pro's?
Discussion
Put some UST versions of these on my bike and after a few miles went over some wet roots - down like granny on a frosty morning! Cracking bruise down my thigh as I didn't even have time to unclip!!
Now, I know wet roots are always very slippy, but never had a tyre with quite this level of no bloody grip whatsoever. They seem fine on anything else.
Anyone else got good or bad experiences of these?

i used to run Conti Verti pro's 2.3s (come up quite small with Conti's strange sizing methods) as my XC tire. Now, I know wet roots are always very slippy, but never had a tyre with quite this level of no bloody grip whatsoever. They seem fine on anything else.

I really liked them but found i often got pinch flats while riding on them. I was hoping this post was going to say, yay UST versions are amazing we all should be riding on them...... but it seems that's not the case

FWIW now run Kenda Nevgal Tomac's as my XC tire and swear by em.
