Morning vs Afternoon
Discussion
One for the 'medical' types.
if i go riding quite early in the day i get quite bad pins and needles/numbness in my hands,if i go later its not bad at all??
oh and i get numb feet all the time, usually after about 20 minutes riding.
The feet thing is the worst 'cos if its it cold my feet go dead!!
No one at my local bike shop have useful suggestions, anyone on here more knowledgeable?
cheers,mike

Can't comment on the morning/afternoon thing - but re: your feet, are your shoes too tight? I find that outside temperature makes very little difference to how my feet feel but every time I've put on an extra-thick pair of socks then they've gone numb. Reading up this is probably due to them restricting blood flow and ever since I've always worn thin socks - result, no more cold feet. If it's really really cold then I'll chuck on some overshoes but it has to be significantly below zero for me to consider that!
