my week off

so i booked a week off work, rode the usual stuff over the weekend, danbury and then thorndon with the dog.
Tuesday went to Chicksands to practise a few jumps and burms etc, last run down we tried a little harder and my brother landed badly trying to clear the triple before the burm at the bottom, ended up in a heap and breaking his coller bone!!!!
so we got shipped outter there in an ambulance and spent the next 4 hours in casualty!

Friday i had planned a trip up to Coed y Brennin. now after my brothers broken bones i was in two minds?
i decided Dr pepper and left at 0500 friday morning.
got there in 4 hrs from essex!
i had all my pads on and a full face helmet just in case. i think its the only time ive ridden there and it be nice weather.
i was riding with a guy who does triathlons for fun and is crossed with a mountain goat and a cross country whippet!
any way had the most amazing ride and can recomend a fling visit to wales from london area, i was back with SWMBO eating a curry by 1930!

I thought I’d put in a good effort on Thursday leaving at 7:30am and getting in at 6pm but you’ve beaten me for longevity there! I went and did the Syfydrin trail at Nant yr Arian. There was no way I was missing out on the good weather after what it’s been like over the past few months. Perfect clear blue skies and I didn't see a single other person on the entire 35km trail!
