I went out today and had a look at some bikes.
Really like the Ridgeway Velocity they have at Edinburgh Bicycle...

but I still can't get the Scott Sportster P6 out of my mind - I really like the look of this but have no chance to try it before buying over the web!

Does anyone have any experience of Scott bikes? or can you offer a constructive argument for either bike?
Decisions, decisions...

I had 4 customers out today riding that very Ridgeback. I really like them, theyve got a great range this year. Its really really nice looking in Velocity spec, dark matt grey colour. Lightweight, simple, functional frame, great spec.
Great fast commuter type bike.
Infact... I suggest you PM me.

The Scott will be faster but the Scott Branded components aren't really upto much. Well that's not true bars, seatpost, stem etc.. are fine. Hubs and wheel builds aren't that great though.
Hey if you're comfortable on the Ridgeback, you like it, it forfills your needs and you can afford it then why look for anything else. At these prices there isn't a lot of room for massive improvements. Stop looking for the BBD!
