Just wondering if any PH'ers on here use Cwmdown.co.uk uplift service as I work for them driving the minibuses and trailers. I frequently see some tasty metal in the car park so tell me who you are, what bike u got and wat car you have so I can say hello! smile

Gits!

Welcome to the throng mate - was good to have you driving us up - was chucking at you getting caught out on the wrong side of the bikes, but I'm sure you've got the hang of it now!

Always an ace day to spend up there - the service is what makes that place - tell Daryl he's done an ace job establishing it thumbup

Walked up and down there a few of times in the last few weeks. Often been tempted to try and hitch a ride back up instead of walking but apparently that wasn't the point of the walk! smash

I really haven't got the balls to fly on a bike down there, great to watch though.

wavey Hi Kenny

I'll say hello next time i'm over. Probably be with Neil, he hangs around like a bad smell you know....

Bummer about the bike, I guess you're well placed to hear of any good 2nd hand rigs up for sale tho!

Dont know much about the disco but we used to run T5s for the ski company i worked for and they were great bits of kit. I used to nick one off the boss for umm, err, most of the summer and with the rear bench out you could fit 4-5 peeps and their kit for a day out. A friend of mine has a Navara double cab 4*4 in Chamonix and it is the PERFECT wagon winter and summer smile

Hi Kenny,

Darrell said he was taking on someone new, he must be trying to cut back from that tough two day week of his, ha ha.

I'm down there every few weeks/once a month. Ride a bright Orange Cove Shocker (poorly).

There was a PH day there back last year which was a bit of a laugh.

I think it was about 15 members and hangers on, tbh I seemed to be enternally on the opposite bus to the main group. Another one would be a good laugh.

We generally roll up in a Transit, 85ps, but she's been "mapped" up to about 100ps!!!! That's some serious hourses to keep in check, ha ha, belongs to a mate of mine.

I could have a word with my boss but best thing is to book 16 places if u want sole use of an bus in the week or double that for 2 buses on the weekend, probably need to book it well in advance! i only work weekends at the moment but hopefully get more days soon.

the website is www.cwmdown.co.uk which has online booking and a calender which shows how many places are left/available to book or whethers its full on each day.

Howdy mate! welcome to PH and good luck with the new job. I was up there with Neil on your first day, i had the white Commencal 666.

You seemed to be doing alright, and to echo everyone else's comments, Darryl runs a good service. Shame it was pouring it down that day but it was still good!

ETa - Neil, where the hell are the triangle pics!!
