Why is it when I'm out on the bike that I get a slight buzzing or pins n needles in my toes!?? Mainly my left foot but it does sometimes creep up the leg to er.....my more tender parts....

Is this normal? Do I need to change my saddle or something? I'm only on the bike 30 mins before it happens.

I used to get this when I tied my laces too tight and pulled the velcro too tight, on my shoes. Onto different SPD shoes now with a slightly better design and all is fine.

Try slackening the laces slightly.

It is probably circulation. Try as above.

As above. I get pin and needle if I tie my shoes too tight. Loosen your laces and it shouldn't happen again smile

If it happens when you are out, make sure you get off the bike whip your shoes off and get circulation back into your toes. Then put the shoes on slightly looser.

If that doesn't work, lay off the Port. It could be gout.

It could be any number of things not related to your feet. I'd start at the top, look at the position of your hands on the bars, up to the shoulders to see if they're straight, check your neck and head - make sure you're not straining either. Make sure your saddle is straight and correctly positioned forward/backward. Then move down the legs to the feet.
