MTB in Switzerland

Sister lives over in Switzerland and am thinking of throwing the bike in the van and going on a MTB roadtrip. Anyone recommend any good places either there or surroundings countries?.

Loads and loads to ride. You'll love it. Unless you know the trails ( and ski lifts ) well get some one to lead you. You can waste hours climbing, drop down a valley and it can be 10 times further to get back to where you started. I'm sure Marcellus will help.

to give you some food for thought, this is yesterdays ride (BTW I am not the rider in the pics but the dog dig run all the way.... and more)

1st mile starts here and is an 18% climb up this track;



2nd Mile opens up and we lost the hard pack;


We got to the top and rode along the ridge and started the descent for a couple of miles but hit the hit the mud;


and some snow;


before we entered back into the tree line and pretty much stayed in this type of terrain for the final 5miles home;
