mtb single speed conversion

Remove all of the shifters, mechs and cables. Then you will need a single sprocket for the back with some spacers (kits available from ebay). You need to remove inner and outer chainrings and keep the middle one. A good ratio to start is 32:16ish which you can then tweak. You will also need a chain tensioner as its highly unlikely you will get bang on the right length with your chain, these are also available from ebay. You need this if your dropouts are vertical not horizontal which they almost certainly will be. Thats it - jobs a good'un...

What is the best way to do it ?
te weather (to save my P7 for "best") and sometimes for medium runs like Llandegla (the lack of suspension shows though).
