I joined a mate tonight for an 11 mile 'out' ride to a pub, couple of pints and an 11 mile 'in' ride home. Mostly off road too, bloody fantastic it was! Daylight 8:30pm going, night 11:30pm coming back and being ever so slightly wobbly made it all the better.
Yeah I do most of my riding at night time too, mainly because i'm much more comfortable in cold conditions but the lack of traffic on the roads makes it so much nicer, occasionally find myself riding through to sunrise, which is just amazing, especially riding along the coast.
Always do a few night laps when in Wales. Just done a 12 hour solo night race. Very emotional riding into the setting sun, and what better way to start the day riding as the sun comes up.
