I've decided I am going to get a fixie. I have seen an SE Draft Lite fixie on Evans for 259, which seems a reasonable price for what looks an ok bike(for work commute).

Does anyone have any experience of these? It seems a little on the cheaply priced and I am trying to gauge if it will be a case of "getting what you pay for"
Or can you reckomend an alternative fixie in a similar price bracket?

looks like a poor mans specialized langster. have a look at the Fuji range for a cheap, quality fixie... if you want something a bit different have a look at http://singlespeed.angelfire.com and a guy builds and sells ss/fixies online, they look quite nice if neon messenger bags and spray on jeans are your thing.
SE are a very well respected BMX firm, they were in it from the start, 1977
Their BMX frames are usually Aluminium so was a little surprised to see that bike in steel, the blue/brown colours are SE corperate colours.
I have a SE Floval Flyer 24" BMX tucked away in the shed and a few mates ride PK Rippers.
No idea if that bike is any good though, although I do like the look of it
