I've been looking for a LH XTR V Brake Lever for a few weeks. Initially couldn't find any except in pairs at about £80.

Tracked a few and lost on ebay. They have been going for about £45 inc post (used).

Just got a brand new one from Bonthrone for £24!!!!!

Deep joy.

I needed a Rock Shox poploc lever on its own and nearly forked (no pun intended) out £50 for a new one from SRAM's UK distributor but happened to find someone on gumtree selling exactly what I needed (new, still in the bag) for £25. Deep Joy +1

Top googling.

I noticed a couple of Kona Hei Hei Supremes which went for about £2k each on ebay, sold at the same time as one one Gumtree, advertised at £1100, and £1300!

It's strange how lots of people think you automatically get a bargain on ebay.

You should have just bought an old indexed downtube gear lever, you could probably have got one for a fiver smile
