I've always wondered where I could get a Bonsai tree to make my Toolbox that bit more, you know, karmic.

Quite Neil. I was also wondering why I see so many people with a large hydrangea poking out of their back packs. Now I know

...but those with one in both bottle cages are just showing off smile

Not as good quality as the Aldi stuff but can't complain for the money. Ive got some of the shoes and trousers from last year and they are fine - I am waiting for the wireless cycle computers at £3 again!

I know it complies with standards etc, but would you really trust a 9 quid helmet in the event of an accident?

I'm after a bike rack for the garage so might be after one of those, doesn't seem to have any padding on it though, nothing some pipe lagging wouldn't fix I've no doubt.

I was after some shoes and didnt fancy spending a fortune if I didnt like SPDs. Might give those a go and get some Shimano pedals.

They have the same stock out here.

Last night i picked up the Jacket (bargain for 10€, mittens(palm pads are a bit shiney but no complaints for 3€) and the glasses. I will pop back in again tonight and see if the rest of the stock has appeared.

I bought a pair a couple of years ago, although not the ones they're selling now - still going strong.

unless you are on a really tight budget, dhb gear form wiggle and altura gear is pretty hard to beat in value for money stakes. sure in comparison to the aldi prices its expensive but i have found that in terms of fit, form and function, and durability, it is competitive against the higher brands.

I'd add the Lusso gear to that.

I have an Altura jacket and find it very good and wasnt expensive. The problem with buying from Wiggle is that you dont know whether it will fit or not.

i have never needed to use it but i have heard if you call first, they are happy to exchange, refund etc etc without cause for concern.

Quick reminder that the Lidl kit is in the shop today.

I picked up some Jerseys, gloves and the track pump this morning. The track pump is very smart and for £4.99 good value.

I know the old saying "buy cheap, buy twice", but for cross town commuting the jersey's seem ideal.

yes They happily took back a pair of forks that were the wrong size through my own stupid fault.

I've phoned them before and asked if it's ok to order clothing in multiple sizes and just send the ones back that don't fit and they've been happy to do that, too.

i bought the shoes and tried them out today. Seem to be ok for the price, fairly stiff sole, decent stitching and space for a cleat. Will be getting a pair of pedals now!

Picked up some of the clothes for the winter, the jacket is pretty neat and the trousers are really comfortable. The track pump is definitely only good for 120psi though laugh I bought the shoes last time round and they have been fantastic so far, no signs of any serious wear and still comfortable! Wish they had the £3 cycle computers again!
