st, have you been get washing your bike a lot or just riding it in the sea!!!

Remind me never to buy a bike off you biggrin

And still repairable with stuff that's dead easy to get hold of!

Weather it's financially worth repairing is another matter.

The cost of spares was £115, new hub was £130. I got a new hub. I live 2 mins from the beach and that is 2 years of doing. 100 miles a week. With all the sand it is washed once or twice a week. I have replaced all the bearings this week!

To be fair it looks like it wasn't cared for properly. Components need to be oiled at least once in their life eek

Totally agree! Service interval should have been 6 months - not when it makes a grinding noise!
