Wanted! Avid Juicy 5 brake lever......
Discussion
Is this the one with blown seals?
It DOES cost a lot to get these replaced at your LBS as its a fair bit of fiddly labour...
but... if the shell, pivot and lever are in good nick - you could buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself - its fiddly but not impossible, and you already have a bleed kit correct?
Otherwise - a juicy 3, 5, or 7 lever will also work if needs be.

Yup, the seals are completely gone and are leaking slowly. They work more or less but it's not usable and probably quite dangerous on a proper ride out.
With everything I've bought lately, I've given up on buying a new set of X2's as a planned (cancelled the order after feeling terribly guilty). I do like the idea of trying a rebuild though, but I don't know exactly what to buy and where to get it.
CRC do a push-rod replacement kit but I don't think this is what I need. Their seal kit is for the calipers so if anyone has any idea what I should buy, please let me know and where I can get it.....

Cheers! Just bought one from Jensen USA for $9. I've got a friend bringing it back for me but it's no problem as our usual trails are covered in snow!
