Bike insurance?

Having already had one bike stolen, I'm keen to get seperate bike insurance... Any recommendations?

I looked into it a while ago and found that the best bet was to get M&S house insurance then add the bikes to it. Cheaper than bike specific insurance and are very good for paying out when it all goes wrong.

Living with my brother at the moment, but my bike is between here and my folks, hence the thought of getting seperate insurance? Cheapest quote I've got thus far is the same as my car, haha!

I was going to ask this, after Tesco messed up my insurance (they only cover bikes upto £1000, despite my household insurance renewal clearly showing a much higher sum insured...)

The best one I've found so far is Entertainment & Leisure, costing £10.63 per lunar month (28 days) with a £1,800 sum insured. Tempted to go with that unless anyone knows better?

Get your brother to get an M&S insurance policy on his house and contents?
