1000 Miles by tomorrow - 1700 miles pa

Does anybody else bother to record their mileage?

Since I started commuting in late May I've clocked up 988 miles. By the time I get home it'll be 995 miles. If I cycle in tomorrow I'll hit 1000 mies. Yey!

Well done! When I was commuting I used to rack them up too, hardly done 200 miles since I changed jobs in September

While at college I could easily clock up 3,000 miles a year. You've got a bit to go yet

Yeah, I do 400 a month at the mo; don't save any money I reckon. All goes on bike bits, clothes, extra pies, beers and ice creams. I am always hungry.

Should hit 12,000km for the year this weekend, which works out at just under 8000 miles - have drove about 3,500 - would be more, but my car is a shed.

Have ran 981km this year - need to do a few more to his the 1000.

When I was racing I used to rack up about 400-miles a week training and commuting. Many years and 5-stone later I'd struggle to do 400-miles in a month

Doing about 250 miles per week, getting ready for the start of the road racing season next March.

err....20,000 miles a year - that's massive - twice than the combined mileage of my two cars.

Just made 3000 last week. Tend to stay off the roads over the Christmas period. Too many drivers with their minds not on the job (or pis5ed).

Used to higher, but my office is nearer home now.

Just racked up 1000 miles on the road bike I bought back in August. Well chuffed.
Also cheesed off that with 10 hour days and working weekends before xmas I can't get out atm

i bought my father a computer for his road bike last christmas,i asked him how he was getting on with it last month,i was stunned when he said he was doing quite well,that he had passed 15000miles,thats fifteen thousand miles,in ten months
he said also that when the weather is bad,he uses his exercise bike which he has cannibalised with his favourite bars and seat and cycles watching tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My bike did over 5,000 miles in the first year I had it, 1994-95. Then I left university and it's probably not done significantly over 5,000 miles in the intervening 14 years

In my final year of school I was riding there and back and also at lunch times too. At the weekends I rode to work and I often took the bike off road too. The result was 4,000 miles per year and I had to replace the chain and cassette every 1,000 miles.
