Full susser to road bike

I'm thinking about reluctantly getting rid of my Giant NRS 1 (2006) and maybe crossing over to the dark side and getting a road bike as I don't have the time to go MTBing as much these days. What I would like to know is how much I would get for my Giant, it has Sid Teams front and back and full XT group set including hubs and hydraulic disc brakes. It is in good condition as it's not been used much for the last 2 years. Any help with this would be great .

this one on bikeradar was up for £550 in Nov but spec wise isnt as good as your own bike so at a guess put it up for £850 and see what happens.... lovely looking bike too!

Based on the price I got for my Orange 5 on fleabay last year I'd agree that £850 is a fair estimate.

I'd always ridden on the road as well as off for 20+ years, but I became 100% stiffback last year and I'm loving it! It's just so fast...

forgot to say i too am arecent convert from knobblies to slicks and am finding it quite good fun. the thing i noticed most was the difference between off road riding which is by nature much more slow/fast/slow/fast whereas road work is just about maintaing cadence and endurance. some spinning sessions at the gym sorted that out. the other thing i noticed was how "bandy-legged" i was, in fact a long term roadie mentioned it and say i was obviously a recent convert as my knees where pointing outwards whilst riding, a sign apparently that i was an off road rider as its poor efficiency and where the moving of body weight is natural.
