Can anyone recommend a bike bag, basically want one that I can use without dismantling the bike too much, Ideally just wheels off.
It is only to avoid having to put a roof rack / bike rack on my new car and give the interior some protection from having a bike put in the back.
Nothing too expensive either
Thanks
Tom

If that's all you want it for, I don't think a bike bag is for you.
Takes me about 2 hours I'd guess to pack my DH bike in a bag. Ok that's 'flight ready' so no protruding bits, foam covered stanctions etc etc and it's a bloody big/heavy bike.
I think you'd be better off with a boot liner.

I got a tarp designed for gardening that has handles sewn into each corner (so you can build a big pile of leaves then gather it up and throw it in the car). It's perfect to lay in the back, then put the headrest supports through the handles - keeps the backs of the seats protected.
Oh, and I have a Dirtworker so I can wash the bike when I get back to the car, it mostly dries while I get changed but is fully dry by the time I get home - so I can wheel it straight into the flat (across beige carpet) without making a mess.
