Am i being a fanny ?
Turned to the dark side(road bike) took the new bike out for 20 miles yesterday and had to pull up after half hour due to lower neck pain ? its still killing me today.
Am i being a light weight and except i've got to condition myself to it or am i doing something wrong?
Help please

I used to get that, so I raised my handlebars a little and it seemed to cure it!!

I used to get it, as above, it's due to the riding position, much more leant over to reach the handlebars and so you're head is at a different angle when looking straight ahead using muscles that you don't usually use. Either put your handlebars up a bit, or just get used to it and build up the neck muscles so it doesn't hurt anymore smile I no longer get it when normal riding but after prolonged stints in an 'aero' position, I do.

Avoid wearing your jacket too tight - ie it's cold, you wear a fleece under your normal jacket which pulls your neck muscles.
