Wainwright's Coast to Coast
Discussion
My good mate has decided that he wants his stag do to be cycling the coast to coast, from St. Bees to Robin Hoods Bay. It is a little bit of a reunion of the old school friends when we all did this 16 years ago after we had just finished GCSEs.
I am really looking forward to it, especially as we will not need to send the oldest looking person into the pub to get the drinks and hopefully we are a little stronger and wiser, though probably not fitter.
Last time we did it we had nice parents to drop us off at St Bees for the start (plus being from Pickering, N.Yorks) it wasn't much of a trek to get there early doors. This time now living in London I am going to head up Friday afternoon on the train.
So does anybody know of any bike friendly B&Bs in St.Bees they can recommend?

not sure if you are aware but there are different routes for walkers and cyclists due to bridleway/footpath rights of way issues. wouldnt want you gettinga telling off from the red sock brigade...
