.......Any thoughts?

I'm like a magpie for anything orange (make a note: if you want me to buy it, paint it orange) and this bike has caught my eye.

At this price I guess it's hardly high tech but does anyone have a view on it?? http://www.evanscycles.com/products/mongoose/mauri...

Frankly awesome riding - I like orange too.

Most of the whinging on here is related to the colour scheme which clearly is a benefit for you rather than a hindrance.

I wanted one, but they were going to take a while to get one in XL and I'm impatient. They look awesome though. Very GT3.

My flatmate has just bought one, they seem ok and come with both fixed and standard sprocked on the hub so you can flip it round. The rear wheel bearings in his were a bit ropey when it turned up but he doesn't really want to send it back since he uses it to get to work every day. Not sure what we are going to do about that but we'll get it sorted. The only thing that annoyed me is that there are no rear brake cable guides so the outer is just held on with zipties which looks a bit messy. Also the gearing as standard is pretty low so you may end up buying a smaller sprocket or bigger chainring if you don't have many hills around you.

More of Akrigg doing some pretty impressive stuff on one, I certainly see it as a good advertisement for the bike as it seems to take a fair about of abuse!
