Anyone know where to service bikes around the E4 area?

There's a bike shop in Highams Park, its over-priced and the owner is a grumpy old git. So any other places to service apart from Heales?

I googled but had no joy!

Anyone used the Bikeshed in Woodford? What about Evans Cycles?

If Bikeshed is the one on George Lane, last time I was in there I saw a sign saying they only repair bikes that were purchased from them. Not sure why.
Evans can be expensive.
What needs doing to your bike? I know a very knowledgable cycle man.smile

Nice one; its going to be a basic service; Brake pads, tyre tubes, general check up.

I might give Bikeshed to check on that sign. surely any good business wont turn away business. Would be good to have a word with them.

So how does your servicing?

Have you tried Heales?

Yeap, Evans will be quite dear. Not really too interested in even trying to talk to them!

Heales of Highams Park quoted me £90, got the same service done elsewhere for £65 and this included a free delivery back to my place! Thanks Jim!

Decided to forget Heales as they are just plain st; poor grumpy service and overpriced!

Got my bike serviced by Jim

http://www.jimsbikeworks.com/prices.html

I found him to be approx 25-30% cheaper than pants Heales and on top of that he drops the bike back!
