Summer's Here!!!!

First ride of the year in shorts this morning, and nice it was too!

Managed to get a 50 in on the road. Doing a cross wales(Barmouth to Shifnal) jaunt in a couple of weeks, so i'm trying to get some miles into my legs.

I might even put the semi slicks on the mtb tomorrow!

WHAT?! I only put my dry tyres on for a few weeks every year. The rest of the time i'm on the mud pluggers.

Blame me! It's not stopped raining here since i changed my mtb's tyres!

Was going to go for a shove / ride on my DH bike tonight, first post-work ride of the year...

Just started sleeting / raining....

Still might go, but not idea conditions to bed in new brakes and relearn to ride a bike that's not seen the light of day since May last year...

I had a few mates up this weekend to do some riding. Saturday was amazing and really did feel like summer had arrived. Sunday was rank and we didn't do that much. I also cycled the road bike to work today. That was a bad decision.

Weather forecast keeps changing up here. Can't decide between Innerleithen or Whinlatter for tomorrow afternoons ride, whichever is drier!
