Locks; please help a newb!
Discussion
Well, I say newby but I'm coming back to the saddle after a few years of being fat and lazy.
Have a Cannondale on the way that will be used mostly on the road. If it gets left anywhere it's more than likely to be outside a shop for 5 minutes whilst I refuel.
I was thinking a combination of cable lock (wheels/short stops) and something fat (long stops/home) could work well but I'm no expert on this.
Bike was £650 if that has much of an impact - been looking at locks for the last hour or so and no closer to making a decision.
Help?

to be honest, a simple cable lock will suffice if its a quick in/out in a reasonably busy area and you dont want to have to lug around anything heavier. for longer stops, a long d-lock is easy to attach around something sturdy. remove front wheel and lock back wheel, front wheel and frame to post. job done. if it has a removeable saddle/seat post again make a quick judgement call as to hte likelihood of it getting lifted and either leave it in situ or take it into the shop with you...
