Cove Frame Warranties

Just wondering if anyone knows what warranty Cove offer on their frames?

I've just got back from a ride and noticed cracked paint on one of the weld seems, could this be a sign on a cracked frame? need to look at it again in the morning but a little worrying...

I bought the frame (Hustler) new last march.

Any help much appreciated, the area is the joint where the cross bar meets the seat post area (sorry not up on terms of the frame)

You need to return this to the shop where you bought it so that they can assess it, then contact the supplier - I think its still Silverfish, if they feel that it needs a closer inspection.
Do you still have your receipt?

Cove have a 12-month warranty, but they also have a discount frame replacement scheme. As stated you need to return it to the supplying shop.

Have you been running your seat post at full extension? Alot of bike frames (not only Coves) fail in this area due to the seatpost not extendng far enough into the seat tube.

I've returned the bike to the Shop (Rutland Cycles very helpful), they have confirmed its cracked and have contacted Silverfish, they have said the frame is covered under a 2 year warranty so are expecting a replacement, not sure how long this will take, Rutland have had to send Photo's through for evidence etc. So fingers crossed all will go to plan.

Depending on the type of riding depends on the height of my seat post, I wouldn't say it is on full extension but I do run it high.
