For a couple of months I've toyed with the idea of building myself a shorditch sheila. Old school frame design, deep v rims, special little touches here and there etc. I took the plunge last week an bought a Peugeot Racer (pearl yellow with yellow/red stripe rainbow graphics)carbolite frame , and standard groupset etc in reasonable condition which is perfectly serviceable. Now I've seen it, I have the urge to restore it with some modern touches and use it on club runs to mix it up a little but also feel like building a fixie. So in time honoured tradition, I thought I'd sit on the fence and let PH decide. I'll get some pics up later on.

Carbolite was used for Peugeots budget road bikes - below Vitus & Reynolds framesets. I think I'd probably use it for the fixie to be honest. If it were higher spec Vitus or 531/531c/653 tubing it would probably have better parts as well in which case I'd say restore it as a proper classic roadbike.
