Road bike hire?

As the title says do you know anywhere that hires road bikes?
Either in Yorkshire or the London area preferably.

for a specific event or just for something general? triandrun rent bikes for triathlons / duathlons so might be worth speaking to them?

I know of a bike shop in Yorkshire that does road bike hire. The shop is Cyclesense at Tadcaster, I think they do the hiring from their branch at Thorp Arch (near Wetherby).
I think they have Giant Defy bikes.

cheers I will contact them I'm doing Lands end to twickenham but don't fancy doing it on my mountain bike and seems silly spending several hundred pounds on a bike for a 4 day ride.
