Advice wanted - best waymarked trails in Europe?

Hi,

I'm looking at taking a week or so holiday mountain biking at the end of July. I'm absolutely useless with maps, and as I'm going alone I'm only going to stick to waymarked routes.

I'm reasonably physically fit, and wondered where the best waymarked trails are in Europe. I'm going to be driving, so I don't mind if I have to move location a few times.

I hear Morzine, Les Gets and Chamonix are about the best - but are there well marked routes?

Also, I'll probably be camping. Are there places where I can pay to store my bike as I'll have no place secure to store it when I'm not using it and away from the tent? Suppose I could always leave it in the car.
