Hi,

Thought I had too many pictures to post in the Show of your bike thread so I made a new post.

New Shimano XTR sintered brake pads, magnesium pedals, FSA carbon handlebars and seatpost, 180mm Shimano discs and caliper spacers. I need a better allen key bit and ratchet to torque up the front wheel and caliper and disc bolts but otherwise it's pretty much there. I also sent the shock off to Mojo for a service. See if you can spot their mistake....

Pictures:

The shock before it went for service....

And when it came back....

Yes, the sticker on the shock is up the wrong way!!!

Dan

Thanks. Not had a problem with the brake levers so far. I just took it out for a little ride to start bedding in the front brakes and it almost through me over the handlebars! Rear wheel off the ground whilst I was sat down. Much better than the contaminated pads and discs that were on there anyway!

PS. Thanks for all the replies everyone to my earlier thread regarding brakes and bedding them in etc.

Doesn't the bottle cage foul the rear suspension? It looks a bit close.

I've never had a problem with it hitting, although I've never put a bottle in there as I bought a Camel Pack. I expect the bike frame goes through the middle of the cage, it may well hit a bottle if there was one in there, yes.
