A little over 4 hours for me - On course for around 3h30 when we hit Preston - stopped for a bite to eat and just could not get going again, then promptly got hammered by the rain!

Some of the people were downright dangerous (One particularly hairy moment included a brake down from 38mph to 12mph in about 10 metres - Definitely an interesting experience on slicks!)

Definitely good fun though, thinking of doing it again next year but setting off earlier to avoid the crowds - and learning how to eat on the move!

We just stopped for a snack n stretch a couple o times, too long and its heavy to get going again,
The worst thing I found was simple lane etticate (sp), people hogging middle and outside, we were going some but still pulled left when we could.

Yeah I know what you mean, I have a habit of riding quite far from the kerb but some of the people were taking the piss a little!

I think next time I'll just have some gel on the go and get off every 15 miles or so just to let my shoulders rest a bit - I had some home made energy bars that were nice enough but just too stodgy to shift!
