Took my Deda Nero Corsa into my local LBS as recommended by the esteemed Swerni.

I'ts a newish bike, about 2 months and 1000 miles old. Guess things had bedded in a little but the crank was creaking, there was a little play in the headset and the mech needed a little trimming.

Popped in sat lunchtime and picked it up at 5, intending to take it the 400M or so home. Jumped on and it was like a new bike again, and despite being in jeans I managed an 11 mile detour instead.

The bill? 8 quid.

Money very well spent, thanks guys.

It's in Addlestone. You'd need a really good reason to go there.

I'm not sure where to take mine for its first service.

Sigma would make sense, but cheap it aint. Evans are also expensive, and I doubt as as good as sigma.

decisions!

I love a good LBS as much as the next man, but there's so much pleasure to be had from doing it yourself. It isn't hard and I love knowing that there's little apart from a buckled rear wheel that I couldn't sort myself.
