looks like a good buy. really like the design which is similar to the scott spark so i guess they will ride quite well over the fast stuff. spec wise its on a level with the rest of the maret thoug hi know nohting about the rims they have used.

my only grumble would be the weight which at 13kg is a bit heavy for a race xc bike though you could get that down a bit and being honest, for the money, thats about in line with the others on the market.

Looks very smart. My only - big - concern would be that I can't think of a licensed name bike that is actually any good. Do you know who makes it?

I like the styling.

The gear set is mid range but good enough being XT and its nice to see it comes with SPDs. The bouncers are upper mid range kit and the only weakness would be the wheels. If it had the DT Swiss wheels of the 3.0 it would be worth every penny.

Its a little bit over priced at list price (its comparable with a Boardman FS Team - spec wise) but as you say, they will be very exclusive and the styling can command a small premium.

I like it.

No I meant motor manufacturers. Landrover, Porsche, etc.

Having said that, didn't Ducati tie up with one of the Itlian brands for a swanky carbon road bike?

Ducati had a joint thing going with Bianchi. Very, very sexy bikes, but far too expensive.

Like the looks of the KTM bikes and quite a good range.

KTM make them, they've been making bikes for years.

Nice bike.

The cycle division is a completely different company to the motorbikes.

Doesn't look anything special to me. Giant used a rear suspension setup like that about 15 years ago...
