"Follow Me" MTB film - awesome

My local arty cinema has a tradition of showing lots of MTB films. We asked nicely when "Roam" first came out and managed to sell the place out, so they're happy to put on something if we ask: Roam, Seasons, Home (the Scottish one), NWD9, NWD10...

Last night was a showing of "Seasons" followed by the new one, "Follow Me". Cracking film, worth seeing if you like the likes of The Collective, Roam, Seasons, and the NWD series. I think "well stoked" is the phrase...

that trailer is pretty amazing, bet the film is great. Is it available on DVD?

Saw that in Southampton recently in a full cinema. If you get the chance go and see it on the big screen. The producers have learnt an awful lot about technique since making The Collective, which was on with it. Probably the best mtb film I've seen. Loved the final sequence in New Zealand.

Yeah, I loved the NZ bit too and I agree about the quality of the filming, some of the sequences were just amazing. They showed seasons afterwards at the Aberdeen screning and while that is still a great movie Follow Me was definitely a step up.

Ordered a copy in Feb (I kid you not) when they said it would release 'Spring 2010'. Then they said there would be a Bluray option! Happy Days!! So I switched my order, DVD came out a month ago, but the Bluray has been delayed.

Coming 9th of August now, 6 months after I ordered it ha ha.

There's knock-off nigel versions in all the wrong places, but I'm going to hold off.

Roam got me out of the Park and into the Trail Centres, Seasons got me onto the DH track, hoping Follwo Me will push me a little further.

We watched it a couple of weeks ago. Didn't really do it for me.

The only decent section was the ending with Gee & Steve. The Whistler section with Fairclough was alright, rest was drivel.

Think I'll be adding a copy of that onto my wish list...

Glad to hear I'm not the only one on here who appreciates these films. Just wish I had a fraction of the riding skills of these guys

I really enjoyed Follow Me. I don't think Seasons is up there with the others, but for me it's completely saved by it's final sequence (the trails at Whistler) with the riders following closely together - it's one of the best for making me want to get out and ride...

It's no Collective/Roam/Seasons.

Didn't make me want to ride bar the Gee Atherton/Stevie bit.

However, Lifecycles looks A. Mazing.
