Hello all

For one reason and another I'm not working this week and have decided to take apart and clean one of the above bikes - might as well have a spare rather than leave it to fester in the shed.

I've managed to get the Biopace SG chainwheels and crank arm off but am struggling with the opposite crank arm and bottom bracket.

Before I take it into the arrogant, supercilious knowall at the shop does anyone know if I should be trying anything different?

Sorry I'm not very good with the terminology.

Thanks.

Threaded the opposite way to expected I think. You may be inadvertently trying to tighten it. Job lot of WD40 and then try again - good luck.

as mentioned drive side of the bottom bracket "usually" has a left hand thread i.e clockwise to loosen it
