Armadillo tyres

Chaps and Chapettes,

I have a pair of Armadillo Tyres on the road bike. Today I noticed the back wheel is wearing down slightly, but my cycle computer reckons ive only covered 600 miles on them.

Can anyone tell me what their life expectancy is? After how many miles should they be replaced?

I've had a set of Armadillo tyres on my Specialized Crossroads Comp Hybrid pretty much from new, the bike must be at about 6 years old now. I do around 2500 miles a year commute & I have yet to replace them!!!! What have you been doing with yours?
