Good Afternoon,
A friend of mine is looking at getting a new road bike. He has asked me about these two bikes.
I know nothing about them as I have not even heard of the brands before.
Basically I was just wondering if anyone has any info on either of these bikes?

Any help is much appreciated.

The ridley seems to have the better groupset so i would be swaying towards that one.
There are a huge amount of bikes for that price, why has he singled out these?
Does he have a price in mind?
At a guess it is the around 1k mark. I know he was looking at the caad9 but that is sold out most places and he is limited by the c2w scheme he is trying to use. There are a huge amount of bikes for that price, why has he singled out these?

Ridley = Better groupset, more basic frame
Willier = cheaper groupset, better frame
Both good established brands. As mentioned a couple of good carbon options with Campag Veloce available from Ribble for similar prices. I have a Gran Fondo myself (Dedacciai carbon frame with carbon Centaur - excellent bike.
Like some other stores, Ribble charge an additional £50 to buy through a C2W scheme and delivery takes a few weeks as the bikes are built to order - not stock.
