Just did a lap of the park after some road miles. Coming down the hill approaching the A3 gate someone had had a nasty off. For those that don't know it's a 25- 30mph downhill with a sweeping right hander and it looked like he'd run wide onto the grass and wooden poles (just my opinion from the scene)

The result was a buckled front wheel, ambulance and police car - hopefully all precautionary. Makes you think though, ride safely.....

Exactly, and there is a huge tramline going down the middle. Horrid.

reason i always lap the park going round the other way! Broomfield Hill sorts out from the men from the boys .. surprised by the number of cyclists i see getting off their bike halfway - i can manage it on an old 501 Dawes.

I'm very sorry, but how can I be expected to know what 20mph is without a speedometer officer? angel

Yes (well it look that way at least)

The gravel has been largely compacted now, and there isn't any dust either.
