Superstar hubs, opinions please

I've just got a new Dh frame that requires a 150mm rear hub.
I was going for the default choice of a hope hub, but noticed a decent review of a superstar components hub and at less than half the price of a hope hub, it looks tempting .

anyone care to comment on quality and reliability?

I'd be interested to hear reviews of their hubs too, although I'd be more interested in their normal/XC hubs. Seem to be great value, but then Hopes aren't that expensive (for 135mm versions at least).

never had one but have heard horror stories of failures of epic proportions.

the saving isn't big enough to tempt me away from a Hope hub, which will probably be able to outlast the rest of the bike with a bit of maintenance now and then
