Mileages

Last night I clicked over the 1000 mile mark on the cateye. Sadly I didn't have it fitted from new, so it's far from a true representation of total mileage, but I'm still pleased and have started to look forward to 2k. Perhaps if I used it for transport rather than fitness/ fun I'd see more....



I realise this is far from a large total, so what are you guys showing at the moment? Who has the biggest mileage of us?

My Raleigh Gritstone from 1994 has 15k miles on it. I'm struggling to replace it because nothing else quite feels the same now.

Considering before May I hadn't cycled a bike for 5 years.

I think 1000miles in 14 weeks isnt bad going, nothing compared to fromage though

Currently sitting at 1042miles as of this mornings ride in, works out to be about 10miles everyday since the 1st week of may

18000 km since the begining of April.. - not too bad going I think!

Since around xmas I think I'm on around 1200, but I didn't do much cycling earlier in the year, just to and from work.

Since the begininng of the year I have done 243 miles on the MTB and 612 on the road

Chapeau indeed. That's 3 years worth of annual mileage in my car!

whooooopsy!! - typo on my post - should have read 1800km, haha!!!!!
(although i've probabaly done about 500km without my Garmin)

It does also show 100,000 calories mind!

I'm quite pleased that since buying the Cateye around May, I have done nearly 800 miles yet only 100 miles on my motorbike and about 1200 in my car.

Got back into cyclling in first week of May this year. (New mtb - cycle to work scheme)

Done 981 miles on the new bike - will crack the first 1,000 tomorrow morning.
360ish on my old hack.
30 on the wife's Trek 6700 when I was having a spoke replaced.

It's great to be getting into shape again! (Lost 2 stone since May)

950 in the past 365 days according to Garmin Connect, but I only got the edge 500 a couple of months ago and was sporadically using my iPhone and MotionX for GPS before then. Much closer to 3000 I'd say in reality.
