I've only been riding to work since March/April and today I had my first off

I was 7.5 miles into my 8.2 mile ride home and I will admit my mind wandered for a second to the nice hot bath I would run for myself when I got home

I was rounding a corner and caught movement on my right hand side, I see a pedestrian stepping off the curb, I think to myself, he'll see me in a second and stop (afterall I am quite large and adorned in a rather fetching fluorescent yellow jacket) I cover the brakes just in case

No this retard doesn't see me as steps right into my path, now I'm halfway through the corner at this point, so what does tthead Keyser do? Grab a shedload of front brake, rookie error, the bike basically collapses under me as the tire loses grip I guess

Anyway I have no real injuries just a sore ass and dented pride, a couple of people stopped to see if I was ok, the pedestrian who caused it was most apologetic, a builder who stopped to see if I was ok could see that I didn't really want this dicks help or opinion and suggested that he leave which was nice

I reckon it's 70/30, him 70% for being a tt and 30% me for allowing my concentration for even a second and for panicking and giving it loads of front brake instead of evenly applying them or running the prick over

Anyway be careful out there everyone, there are tts everywhere

Glad you are ok, hate a washout on the front!

I like to shout loudly at people who look like they are stepping out. Either that or pull an eighties skid speedway style!no use at all really but I enjoy it.
