The number of people who seem to be after a new bike at any one time has got me thinking - couldn't we gather a list of bikes people are about to buy, and then approach Evans and other big dealers for the biggest discount? Even if it's just two or three people, surely a haggle for three bikes would yield better results than for just one. As I ponder this, I wonder whether it's morally fair, but that's probably a fairly pathetic argument! Anyway, I'm no longer looking for a bike as I picked up a beautiful used Spec Hardrock a couple of years ago from the classifieds here, but got to be worth a go for someone here!

unfortunately chains like evans couldnt give a st and wouldnt bother touching a small group buy, plus their deals and end of season sales are pretty good if they have what you want as you can easily save 25%

maybe worth approaching some smaller frame builders and getting a few made to measure frames built up, the see if they can do a deal on a dozen groupsets or something but not the mass unit shifters...

anyway, if you get the thumbs up from Enigma or Van Nicholas, I'm in!....
