I've Bought A Mountain Bike!
Discussion
After not riding a bike since selling my old Saracen one when I was about 17, at the age of 23 I have bought a new one. Have been itching to get back on a bike for a while now and so I've finally bitten the bullet and ordered one! I'm aware that it's not the best bike in the world, but to me £370 is loads of money to spend on a bike! Really pleased with my choice too - it's a Specialized Hardrock Disc 2011 in white and red. Just need to wait two weeks for it to arrive now and I'm quite excited! Never had a bike with disc brakes before, so my inner geek absolutely thought it was worth the extra £40 to get the mechanical disc version over the V-brake model.

I have just started out again and got the same bike. Had it for 2 months now and love it. Easy to upgrade when you need to. The only thing i would change is the pedals.
I've got a set of DMR V8's on eBay starting at just €5. They're worn but in perfect working order.http://cgi.ebay.at/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&i...
ETA: They start at €5....sorry! I've put so many items on eBay I got the price wrong.....

The tech support from DMR is brilliant - couldn't recommend them highly enough!
