I love the fact that his bike will be special as his journey makes each component personal - not just a faceless factory. My bikes don't hold quite the same appeal as I know my roadie was built in Taiwan and my hybrid & mtb are cobbled together by me - hardly a dream build!
I take it this was just a repeat of the program that was previously on a couple of months ago - maybe on BBC4? Was it not called "It's all about the bike"?
I saw it first time round, and am now reading his book, which is good too - although disappointing at the lack of nice glossy photos of the bike and bits:
