Just saw that this is coming to a town near me soon.

Has anyone here been?
Is it worth the trip, or is it for people to scrape around in grubby cardboard boxes looking for a 12 toothed sproket to fit a 1987 Campag hub and some leopard pattern handlebar tape?

I haven't been to one of their sales recently, but I've been to them in the past.

Generally speaking they are good for clothing, shoes, etc, as they have racks of last years (and often older) designs or discontinued lines. If you want a decent winter jacket or some gear for training in mixed weather then it's ideal. They do sell current range parts and usually at a discount but probably comparable to what you could find on the internet. They also have what I'd class as "bin-ends" of parts, tools, wheels & tyres, all quite usable but not the latest or top end kit.

The sales were always packed, you'd get a queue of 100 or more before they open the doors with a mad rush for the few really good bargains and the first hour or so was usually very crowded. Worth going if you want some clothing and aren't too fussy about the logos on it.
